John Carroll University welcomes Pete Williams, former spokesman for the Department of Defense and NBC News correspondent for the Department of Justice & Supreme Court, as our inaugural Journalist in Residence. Pete was a colleague and friend of Tim Russert '72, a well-known political journalist on NBC’s political talk show, Meet the Press.
The Journalist in Residence spends several weeks on campus each year to perform guest lectures, participate in public programs, collaborate with faculty, consult and advise on program and curriculum development, engage with alumni, and mentor students.
